WEEK OFF FOR ME (kind of)
So I have now been training 5 times a week, twice a day for just under 3 months.
I have a small pain in my shoulder that I have had for 2 weeks so I have decided to take a rest week (forcing myself).
I already feel I should have been this morning however research shows to have a rest after a hard period of exercise can allow your muscles to grow and strengthen as well as allowing your body to reset and been even more efficient when you start back again.
I am still playing football tonight and circuit training on a Wednesday night however my body will still see this week as a huge rest.
Listen to your body and don’t rest it too soon, you have to deserve the rest!!!
