New research has proven carbs to be the new obesity enemy. Eating carbs or sugar (if you want it in a terms people understand as bad news) gives people increased insulin doses from their pancreas.
The insulin reacts with cells creating fat stores. The more carbs/sugar you eat the fatter you will get.
Fat has to be avoided in large amounts however saturated fat found on animal meats can now be eaten in moderation and I see no reason to go out of your way to avoid eating this as part of a healthy diet.
Still eat carbs but avoid wheat where possible as it’s difficult to digest.
