My name is Sam and I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer. I have been training myself for 12 years in and out of the gym and have developed a vast knowledge in weightlifting, circuit training, running, plyometrics, aerobics, boxercise, core stability, balance improvement and corrective exercise. My passion has been sports and fitness from a young age but have really developed my knowledge in strength and fitness within the last ten years. I have gone from playing most sports to performing as a powerlifter at county level to running in 10k races and the Nottingham Half Marathon. I have also trained for body building and have helped train clients to become stronger athletes in their profession. I am currently competing in Strongman events which involves lifting heavy objects or more recently pulling Land rovers!
I can bring you fat loss, toning, fitness, muscle building and strength to your door step. My training techniques include the use of dumbbells, kettlebells, mat work, boxing, body weight and ViPRs. We will try them all to discover what you like and which training techniques keep you motivated.
I will meet you either at your home or a local park at times to suit you all day everyday (even Sundays). I will travel to Chesterfield, Bolsover, Sutton, Kirkby, Hucknall, Arnald, Eastwood and other surrounding areas in Mansfield and Nottingham.
I also carry outĀ group training, from groups of friends, bringing new groups together and also training groups at their place of work. I have trained Ollerton Town Football Club, training them as a strength and conditioning coach. As well as working with championship footballer David Mcgoldrick with his strength and core work (see my people I train page).
I train a large variation in fitness types/levels, sizes and shapes all who want a different goal and have different expectations. Some people can afford one session a week and others can afford more so I do what I can to motivate you in between visits whether it be 1 a week or 4 times a week.
